The Jeani Ferrari and Elizabeth Claes Scholarships
Supporting Local Food Systems and Healthy Communities
presented by the Turlock Certified Farmers Market
Cultivating Tomorrow’s Leaders
At the Turlock Certified Farmers Market (TCFM), our mission is to sustain local agriculture, promote community health, and create a vibrant gathering place for small businesses. We believe the best way to secure the future of our local food system is to invest in the students who will lead it.
We are honored to offer the Jeani Ferrari and Elizabeth Claes scholarship opportunities to graduating seniors who embody our core values of community, education, and innovation.
Brand New, this year, we are offering a second award category!

Scholarship Eligibility & Focus:
Local Community Award - For our Local Students. Dedicated to seniors attending high schools within the Turlock and Denair areas who demonstrate a heart for their community and a passion for local impact.
*NEW* Heart of the Market Award - For the TCFM Insider. This award is for those who are an active part of our market family—whether as a volunteer, intern, vendor, or an immediate family member of a current vendor.
The Turlock Certified Farmers Market provides the community of Turlock and the surrounding areas with a venue to connect with local farmers and agricultural product producers which encourages a deeper connection with where our food comes from, provides access to locally-grown, fresh and healthy produce, and educates about the agricultural products that are local to our area.
Students should submit their completed TCFM Jeani Ferrari and Elizebeth Claes Scholarship application by April 1, 2026. Only one application should be submitted: the criteria for both scholarships is the same. Applications should be submitted through the online application form accessed through the button below. Any questions can be directed to Richard Wallace, TCFM Scholarship Chair at rwallace@csustan.edu.
